Whether your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries, or you simply enjoy a bit of light taunting of an evening, who among us doesn’t love the absurdist humour (because it’s British) of Monty Python? And when the Regional Gathering Committee members were throwing rocks, darts and theme ideas for 2025 at each other and someone realized the dates would coincide precisely with the 55.5th anniversary of the premiere of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, it all clicked into place like a clicky thing clicking into another clicky thing with a satisfying, um, click.

Join us for a weekend of Pythonesque (it’s a real word, look it up) entertainment. You won’t be able to swing a dead parrot without hitting a presenter, game or trivia event. Just don’t expect the Spanish Inquisition.

Full-weekend registrations are $75 through January 31, 2025; $85 from February 1, 2025, through February 28, 2025; and $95 from March 1, 2025, and beyond. To encourage families to join in the fun, PAM is offering a $40 registration rate for ages 7-12 and a $60 registration rate for ages 13-20.

RG registration includes all programs and activities, beverages and snacks in our hospitality suite, and lunch on Saturday. Hotel or RG registration includes Drury’s free hot morning breakfast and free dinnertime food and drinks. You can pay on line by visiting the RG Online Payment Portal. The 2025 Carolinah RG will take place at the Drury Inn & Suites – Greenville, where we again will kick back, relax, and play in one of our favorite hotels. Despite rising hotel costs throughout Greenville, the Drury Inn & Suites still offers affordable rates.

The staff of the Drury Inn & Suites Greenville SC want you to enjoy your stay in Greenville! They achieve this goal by making just about everything included. Be sure to plan your arrival in time for Drury’s 5:30 Kickback® reception with beverages and food from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. Then, in the morning, enjoy the free HOT QUIKSTART! breakfast to get ready for a full day of Carolinah RG activities. (Drury’s 5:30 Kickback® reception and HOT QUICKSTART! breakfast are also available to those who are registered for the 2025 Carolinah RG but who are not registered guests of the hotel.)

Equipped with Drury’s free wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, you’ll be able to check your e-mail as often as you like—though you’ll probably be too busy enjoying the RG to spend much time on line! When you do need time to take a break from revelry, you can enjoy Drury’s free indoor swimming pool or hot tub or burn off a few calories in the exercise room. Parking on site is also free.
